30 Olympic and world champion skaters join forces on the ice to create a show of passion, pace and nothing short of pure adrenaline. There’s a global connection between every performer in this show, languages become universal and skaters unite to weave a colourful tapestry of emotion and art.

High-speed, high-skill skating combined with cutting edge effects and theatrical flair. Elements that seem near impossible to recreate on the unforgiving ice, are made possible. Prepare to see the ice set on fire – literally. Backflip, triple spin, round of applause, big grin.

11,000 rhinestones handstitched, complemented by hand-picked ostrich and pheasant feathers. Designed, made, fitted and altered in-house.

Who's behind Hot Ice?

Amanda Thompson OBE has been both Producer and Director of the Hot Ice Show for over 20 years. In 2005 she also took over as Managing Director of Pleasure Beach Resort and has managed to successfully combine the two major and demanding roles.

The show is choreographed by Oula Jaaskelainen a former Olympic athlete and Hot Ice cast member, who creates excitement by encouraging the performers to skate at high speeds with intricate footwork and spine-tingling jumps. Working together with former dancer and assistant choreographer Lynsey Brown they both inspire the skaters with their unique styles and ideas.

What time are the shows?

Performance times

• 2:30 pm Matinee performances
• 7:00 pm Evening performances
• There are no show performances on Sundays

If you are coming to see the Matinee at 2:30 pm. You can access the Pleasure Beach Arena via the Watson Road Tunnel and the via the main entrance of Pleasure Beach Resort, just bring your Hot Ice tickets with you.

Show Length:

Matinee show approx. 50 minutes
Evening show approx. 2 hours with a 20-minute interval.

Where can I watch Hot Ice?

Pleasure Beach Arena is the only place in the world where you can watch the Hot Ice Show.

The entrance to the Arena is accessed via Watson Road Tunnel. The address is Pleasure Beach Arena, Blackpool, Lancashire, FY4 1EZ.

Where can I park?

Parking is available at the following Pleasure Beach car parks:

North Car Park, Balmoral Road, FY4 1HR

All parking is £10.

We do not have parking facilities for caravans and mobile homes.

Is food or drink available at the Arena?

Our foyer bar is open throughout serving Starbucks coffee, light bites, soft and alcoholic drinks, and much more.

Can I buy a DVD of the show?

DVDs and Soundtracks of the show may be purchased onsite at Pleasure Beach Arena or online via the Pleasure Beach website. Many previous Hot Ice soundtracks can also be found on iTunes.
